A few months ago I got it in my head that I was going to build my our blog from scratch. Then I did. It was up and running, and then I stopped. The problem is I was able to get a minimal working version up and running using a .net Core 2 api and an Angular front end pretty quickly. It was fun. But….

So, I'm trying something new. I'm going to see how much I can do only using an iPad. I recently acquired a new iPad Pro, the 10.5 version with the pen. The main reason for this is portability.

Yesterday we did a bar crawl along Atlanta's beltline trail. It's basically a sidewalk the winds through a few neighborhoods in the city. It was a beautiful day. 85 and sunny, the markets and bars along or near the path were crowded with people enjoying the day. We hit about 6 bars and covered about 3 miles via foot.

Shooting with my Fuji X-T10 in manual mode, plus a manual focus lens is fun. I don't know of a more elegant way to say it. I also don't really know how to describe it at this time. It's just fun. It just feels more creative. I do this from time to time on my Canon 6d and for some reason it doesn't give me the same level of satisfaction.
